The Fund for Lake Michigan seeks a limited number of projects that focus on habitat preservation and restoration, and reducing pollutants in the coastal areas and the rivers of southeastern Wisconsin. The Fund may be open to a very limited number of projects outside of its core geography.
The Fund employs a two-step grant-making process with prospective grantees asked to first submit a letter of inquiry. We invite full proposals from prospective grantees that are best suited to help achieve the Fund's goals. We encourage potential applicants contact us to discuss their proposal idea before submitting an application.
